About Us
Our Ethos
Pebble offers a proprietary, state-of-the-art LIVING-ORGAN system to researchers aiming to develop tangible healthcare products and innovations. Line-of-sight to patients is important to us, and sits closely with our strong moral objective to make a difference. We will continually strive to improve our LIVING-ORGAN system models and will bespoke-build systems based on a researcher’s needs – this is often the best part of the job!
We will maintain our strong 3R’s ethos (Reduction, Refinement and Replacement of small animals in research), and offer an ethical alternative to large animal research. Our approach guarantees that no laboratory animals are used. Instead, we support local farmers in rearing pigs to the highest husbandry standards, using only surplus biological material. This is important, not only ethically, but also to ensure that we have full provenance of our biological material.
Our Pipeline
We are a high knowledge and innovative company. Inherently, we are developing our own products and therapies across three business units. Our pipeline includes a broad range of perfusion and preservation solutions, protocols and systems, and first-in-class blood purification systems for leukocytes, cytokines, complement components and electrolytes.
